Summer Sunday Night

"Suuuuck." "CHEESE!" "Liiiiick."
Luke telling them how to properly eat it. (William and Sean politely listening.)
"Seriously? This guy is STILL talking? Does he ever stop? Please stop pouring him wine."

More Art

Luke's family portrait. (left to right: Mommy, Daddy, Sean, Luke) He got a kick out of drawing the legs, so he added more, put some fish on the bottom and declared that we were "hotopusses."
Sean's invention of the Pizza Drawing. (A favorite genre, since we LOOVE to draw dots in this house)
Luke's obsessive, highly organized adaptation of the Pizza Drawing. (front)
(back)

Luke's drawing of Mommy.

Mommy (right) has lots of toes. Once you start drawing toes, there's really no reason to stop until you run out of room. This is the first and only drawing of a person Luke has ever done with such a long nose. It's an excellent portrait. Mommy also has a hat on and a coat. (double line around Mommy's head/body) Luke is on the left. He's upside down because his legs fit better that way.

The Magic Slide

Walk on the Beach

Luke peeled off towards the water without a backwards glance. (Probably looking for dophins.) Sean took a little more time warming up tho the environment...

Can't get them in a decent shot together.

This is Luke.

This is Sean.

The Title

"Oompa, Loompa, doompa-di-do. I've got another puzzle for you. You can live in happiness, too -- if you live like the Oom. Pa. Loom. Pa. Doompadi -DOO!"

"Mommy? What's 'happy nest?' Birds have a nest!"

So, we have a happy nest. I suppose we live like the oompa loompa doompadi do.
The start of my blog. 2 1/2 year old twin boys. More than a couple unused paper diaries. Lots of priceless memories I forget within 24 hours. I'm going to try this out and see how it flies.
